5 Affordable make-up brands.

5 Affordable make-up brands.
and where to find them.

It is now 2018 and money is getting harder to obtain but easier to spend for teenagers. Being the generic 17 year old girl that is interested in makeup and earns minimum wage is hard. High quality and low price is hard to find but not impossible so I've decided to cut out the middle man for you and tell you my favourite 5 affordable make-brands and my favourite products from them.

1. Rimmel London.

I've been using the brand for aslong as I have been doing my makeup and I have 2 favourites which I have yet to up.

So the first item is the clear complexion clarifying powder. I bought this powder about 1 to 2 years ago and I have yet to run out of it. As someone with oily skin I do tend to get a bit shiny throughout the day but one swipe of this on the affected area and the oil is gone.

The next product is the Fix & Protect primer. They are well known the their 24 hour primer but personally after trying both of them I think that Fix & Protect performs better and keeps my makeup looking fresher and smoother throughout the day.

2. L'oreal Paris.

Now I have tried a lot of brands of foundation and I have yet to find one that Matches skin as pale as mine, lasts all day and covers my blemishes. The L'oreal true match foundation has been a life saver many times and as someone who has acne prone skin I have to say it does not provoke any breakouts and after I have removed my makeup my spots are not inflamed. I would definetly recommend this product to anyone.

Mascara. They are well known for their long line of mascaras but my personal favourite is 'feline'. As someone who finds mascara a tedious and near impossible task I was thrilled when I found this. It gives my lashes a natural boost and is easy to apply. Any of their mascaras from the volume million lashes works a treat but feline is a personal favourite.

3. Real Techniques.

As much as I love their powder brush (which you can buy here https://goo.gl/JgJ2PJ) the brush I want to talk about is their foundation brush. I personally have never been a fan of fan brushes for highlighting so when I found this brush I fell in love. It doesn't look like the conventional highlighter brush but it does the job the same if not better than a generic fan brush.

You can find all their other brushes and sets on their website - https://realtechniques.com/

4. Makeup Revolution.

Personally I could never use anything else on my eyes. I prime my eyebrows using this brand and I use the eyeshadow. The eyeshadows are pigmented and are easy to blend and they have a range of matte and shimmer finish shadows. Here are a few of my personal favourite eye products:

Focus & Fix Eye Primer Original (£1.95) - https://goo.gl/HDGifK

Flawless 3 Resurrection eyeshadow palette (£8.00) - https://goo.gl/WX2cyV

HD Pro Brows (£8.00) - https://goo.gl/bVEVkW

5. Collection.

Everybody knows and loves nyxs soft matte lip creams although they are not high priced it is still nice to get a bargain. Collection have replicated this product (inspired by nyx or not) perfectly if not better. It lasts just as long and the formula leaves your lips feeling hydrated yet still matte. At only £2.99 a tube how can you resist? My personal favourite is Caramel (2), you buy that and many more at the link below:

Boots (£2.99) - https://goo.gl/2TW3bH

I hope you have found a few new products you are willing to try out and don't be shy to venture into other aspects of these brands as theses products are only just the tip of the affordable high quality makeup provided.
